I thought the pierogies were going to be a total flop because the dough was sticking. After hand forming each pocket, surprisingly, they turned out great and tasted ten times better than they looked. Don't tell the part of our family with Polish background we eat them with ketchup instead of sour cream. Although I must say, despite the latter fact, after making pierogies myself, I feel I have embraced part of my heritage.
